The Injustice Movie is Fine — Kind Of
Or: How to be a Complete Contrarian Part #5849
How can I get mad at this the film adaptation of the video game Injustice the way so many other people have? Did fanboys have nothing to complain about between the last controversy no one remembers and Jonathan Kent coming out as bisexual? There are other things to be upset at. Like the majority of the DC Animated Universe movies that had to take after the DC Comics New 52 reboot (a failure so bad, DC now acts as if they meant it to be).
To be fair, I only saw Injustice because of a friend. If I paid for it, I might have been genuinely angry. Then again, I paid full price for The Flashpoint Paradox and still found something positive in it.
Someday, someone in DC’S hierarchy will be honest enough to admit that the majority of the animated movies since 2011 have stunk, starting out with awful adaptations of popular graphic novels Batman Year One and All Star Superman before eventually latching on to the incredibly loose adaptations of the New 52 versions of DC Comics characters.
